It is vital to stay focused on self-improvement and discovery, but occasionally look at your community and those around you to see who is in need. It could be an elderly, a disabled, a socially awkward individual, someone forgotten by their loved ones or all of the above.
Spending time in the company of such people may interrupt your regularly scheduled focus on your life but can also bring about a deeper sense of gratitude for the things you do have and may sometimes inadvertently take for granted. And this only for your self, not to mention the joy you can bring to someone in need of just simple company.
