Time

It can be deceptive in perception. It can crawl at a snail’s pace or zoom by, disappearing forever. Even stranger is the seemingly limitless amounts of time we have in our childhood. It seems like the day is long and it’s passing is barely acknowledged. Contrasting strongly is middle age, when there aren’t enough hours in a day to get all the things you wanted done. The speed at which the days pass also seems to increase exponentially and we say goodbye to another year again and again.

If you haven’t hit your goals and accomplished your dreams, now is the time to start. Some of us go through life on auto pilot and use daydreaming to pass the misery of not living our dreams. If you don’t know who you are and have never asked yourself what you want, then now is definitely the time to think about these things. But don’t leave it at that. Make plans and tiny small steps and even if you don’t get there before your time ends, enjoy the journey every step of the way.
